Blsossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Grapefruit Face Wash Review

17

Hello everyone,

Today I am reviewing the third face wash I tried from the Blsossom Kochhar Aroma Magic range which is the Garapefruit face wash which is meant for normal to oily skin types.  You can read my review on face washes that I used before which is the Lavender face wash & White tea & chamomile face wash here & here.

Price: ₹ 125 for 100 mL.

These are available at shops and you can also buy them in various online websites like Amazon India, Flipkart &  Aroma magic also sells them through their online website.

I purchased four different variants of the Aroma Magic face wash and once I finished the Lavender variant & White tea& Chamomile variant , I started using this.  The face wash comes in a lovely semi transparent green colored plastic tube packaging with cap which is quite sturdy.  This is a revamped packaging and blossom kochhar products has been changed to more colorful packaging from their boring white and red packaging before.  The face wash is light green in color, is semi liquid and spreads easily in the skin. The face wash has a refreshing grapefruit fragrance, lathers well, effectively cleanses the face and also removes mild makeup.  It washes off easily, does not leave any slippery feeling or residue after washing.  The face wash will suit normal to oily skin people as claimed and leaves the skin bright and clean.  The skin does feel taunt after washing for sometime and hence the claim of pore tightening effect is just temporary.  I do not believe in skin lightening concept but this face wash leaves the skin bright when used continuously.  Normal skin people might feel the need to moisturize soon after washing the face during winters or colder times and hence, it might not suit dry skin.  It is a really good everyday face wash and is my favorite from all the variants I have tried from this range. I will repurchase it in the future if I do not try any new face washes and it joins my favorite list here.

aro4aro5Pros:

Refreshing face wash that leaves face soft & supple

Lathers well and washes off without leaving any residue

Has a mild nice fruity fragrance

Leaves the skin bright & clean

Ingredient list looks promising with mostly natural extracts & oils

Free from parabens, alcohol, artificial fragrance and color

Cons:

I do not find any particular con with this one, it will not suit dry skin but it is meant for normal to oily skin

The pore tightening effect & skin lightening is just temporary, and I do not believe any face wash can bring such long lasting effect

Prettykooll rating: 5/5 (for being a good face wash)

Now that I know it’s free from Paraben and other harmful chemicals, I don’t mind trying it. I do love the grapefruit fragrance dearly.

This one seems promising 🙂 Will definitely try… BTW have you tried The Natures Co. products? I really liked the Coffee Face Scrub…

Yes, I have tried quite a few The Nature’s Co. products and a couple of them are my favorites 🙂 I have used a trial version of their coffee scrub which I got with their beauty box last year and it was really good, a gentle effective scrub. As I am not a high fan of coffee fragrance, I did not repurchase it 🙂 I know few friends who love it a lot

I love skincare products that have grapefruit but you are right it’s not always the best for dry skin. Nicely reviewed.
