Blsossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Lavender Face Wash Review

I brought the 50 mL pack, these are available at shops and you can also buy them in various online websites. Aroma magic also sells them through their online website at 10% off.

I have combination-oily skin that gets drier in winters especially in the harsh Turku winters and that’s why I started using hydrating face washes. I previously used Kama Ayurveda’s Jasmine Rose cleanser which I liked and it was quite hydrating. When I finished it, I started using this face wash which is actually meant for dry skin types. The face wash comes in lavender color plastic tube packaging with cap which is quite sturdy and sorry that the tube I show in the pictures is almost empty. This is a revamped packaging and blossom kochhar products has been changed to more colorful packaging from their boring white and red packaging before. The face wash is light lavender in color, creamy, slightly runny and spreads easily in the skin. Whenever I open to take some amount, sometimes, it just flows more than required and gets wasted, so be careful when inverting/pressing the tube to get the product. The face wash has lavender fragrance which might smell strong for couple of days but then the smell becomes mild. It lathers mildly, effectively cleanses the face and also removes mild makeup. It does need more water to wash off completely due to its hydrating properties but once washes off it does not leave any slippery feeling or residue after washing and gives a soft subtle moisturized glow. The face wash is hydrating but it starts feeling tight after some time, so moisturizing the skin is essential. It does not strip off the moisture completely and hydrating for my combination-oily skin for winters whereas it will suit dry skin or combination dry skin people all round the year, though following with a moisturizer might be essential during winters. If you have oily or combination-oily skin and are not used to really hydrating face washes, initially your face might not feel very fresh because of the hydration and moisturization effect but you will get used to it in a couple of days. This will not suit very oily or combination oily skin and I myself will not use it during summers and can use it only during winters when my skin is dry.
