Chambor Silver Shadow Compact Review
So, it is almost the end of the year and hope you all have a great new year ahead. If you are following me in instagram here, you will know that I came to London with family to celebrate Christmas with my cousins family. We will be flying back to Finland after New Year and had a great time here in London, will be missing it 🙁 Ok now coming to the review, today I will be reviewing my favorite compact powder which is the Chambor Silver Shadow Compact in the shade “Rose Pale”. This is actually my re-purchase as I liked it a lot.
₹ 995 totally along with the refill (16 g)

About the Product:
A compact is a must have for all women of today. Chambor brings to you Silver Shadow – a magical compact powder which will give you the flawless finish required in a jiffy.
Translucent press powder that has excellent blending ability. It fixes the foundation to complete the base makeup. Non Comedogenic. Dermatologist tested.
The powder comes in a dark blue plastic case with a pretty rose engraved on it. The case is sturdy and travel friendly and the puff that comes with the powder is also of good quality and it wears out well. I have this in the shade “#RR2 Rose Pale” which has pink undertones but blends into my skin and adapts to my neutral undertone skin but still it looks lightly pinkish. Last time I got it in the shade “#RR3 Sable”, which had beige undertones and looked lighter to my skin tone but still it blended and adapted to some extent. The shades are tricky to choose especially if you have neutral undertones and I would like to have a shade which has yellow undertones to it, so it looks more natural. Next time I am planning to try either the “RR1 Ivoire” which seem to have yellow undertones or either the last shade “RR5 Noisette”. So, people with dar skin tone might find it difficult to get a match. Other than that, the compact powder is very finely milled and on application disappears into the skin completely. It does not feel chalky, blends well, gives decent coverage and helps in smoothing out pores and some minor imperfections in the face. I mostly use the puff provided as it is good especially if I am just applying the powder on top of my moisturizer/sunscreen to get some coverage, but if I have a high coverage BB cream or foundation then I use it with a real technique brush or TBS brush for setting it. It controls oil decently for 4-5 hours and more in cold climate and does not accentuate the dry patches in the skin very much like some compacts. But, if you have dry skin, it is better to apply on top of moisturizer but people with oily skin can apply it without moisturizer especially in humid conditions. It does not come with a spf which is a drawback and the price is expensive but it comes with a refill so totally it is 16g which makes it worthy for the price tag. All in all, this is a very nice compact powder available that makes you skin look good, provides oil control for few hours, does not accentuate dry patches so much like few other compacts, gives some coverage and one compact will lasts for 6-7 months if used daily.
