Diana of London Absolute Moisture Lip Liner – ”Pink Frost” & ”Rose Blush” Review

Hello everyone,

Today I will be reviewing two nice lip pencils from a brand called Diana of London in the shades ”Pink Frost” & ”Rose Blush”.

Price: ₹ 325 for 1.1 g

I brought it for ₹ 246.50 from Medplusbeauty.com but it is not available there anymore.

About the Product:  Intense Color Pay-off & Soft Gliding

  • Perfect wear lip liner ideal to softly contour around the lips
  • Enriched with moisturizing shea butter
  • Excellent coverage provides smooth glide and fine shimmer

The Diana of London lip liners comes in colorful wooden pencil packaging which also sharpens smoothly without breaking. The color of the pencil matches with the color of the lip liner, hence it is easy to identify if you have many lip pencils.  They have around 15 different wide range of shades in this range which are beautifully named and you can check the shades here.   Both the lip pencils does not contain any shimmers, are well pigmented and glides fairly smooth without tugging the lips.  Once applied, they settle to a matte finish hence, the lips feel dry after couple of hours which can be taken care of applying a lip balm.   People who have dry lips like me can use a lip balm underneath so that it applies smoothly and does not make your lips feel dry.  I either apply them on top of a lip balm or apply them directly on my lips and then top it with a lip gloss, hence they do not feel dry even after few hours of wear time.  They lasts long for around 4-5 h, but if you only apply the lip pencil without lip balm or lip gloss, then it lasts for 6-7 h. The shade Pink frost is a beautiful pinkish brown shade that will make a good work wear lip color.  I love to top it with the Street Wear mega shine lip gloss Ruby Dazzle which I have reviewed here.  They make an excellent pair giving my lips a nice pinkish brown color, making my lips glossy, hydrating and the lip pencil makes the lip gloss stays longer.  I am especially loving this particular combination this winters.  The other shade Rose Blush is a cool toned pink color that sometimes might look neon pink under particular lightings.  But, it does give a bright beautiful pinkish lips and might wash out people with duskier skin tones.  I love to top this with the transparent Revlon Super Lustrous lip gloss Shine City, which I have reviewed here to get that glossy hydrating lips.  I couldn’t capture the true beauty of this particular shade, due to problem with lightings as usually there is no much bright day light here in Turku, in winters especially in November. You can see how the shade exactly looks like in person here where Poonam from Beauty & Makeup Matters has beautifully reviewed it.

Availability is a major issue, I have not seen them in shops and only seen them online
