Empties Post – 3

29

Hello everyone,

So, this is the 3rd empties post and as I said early, I like to read other’s empties post and also love to write my own.  I usually stick to finish a product especially skin care and hair care products before using another one for the same purpose.  So, it would help me to formulate a final opinion about the products when I have finished using it and if you start watching, most of the products that I review also show up in my empties post.  And I also try not to waste products unless they are completely useless or does harm to my skin or hair.

1.  The Nature’s Co Multi-Vitamin Facial Massage Cream

I have been using this massage cream for the past 1.5 years and finished it just when it reached the expiry date as the product usually expires from two years of manufacturing.  I liked this so much as it had a nice fragrance, spreads well and is nice to massage well without slipping a lot.  I would have repurchased it if it comes in smaller tubs like 50 mL as the massage cream will take some time to finish if you massage your face only once a week.  I might repurchase it in future if I become very regular with massaging my face at least 3-4 times a week.  You can read the complete review of the product here and it also goes on my favorite list here.

2.  Burt‘s Bees Orange Essence Facial Cleanser

This is one of my favorite cleansers and it is also listed as one of my favorite products here.  It is almost a natural cleanser which I have already repurchased and looking forward to use after finishing my current cleanser.  The main problem is the unavailability of Burt’s Bees products world’s and even if it is available it is sometimes more than twice the price sold in the USA.  So, I usually try to get it through my sister or friends when they come from the USA.  You can read the complete review here.

3.  Za Total Hydration Energy Mist

This is the product I just reviewed in the blog and it is a nice hydrating mist which I liked to use during winters.  But, I will not repurchase it due to the long list of chemicals and I prefer to use floral waters or natural face mists.  You can read the complete review here.

4.  Lumene Bright Now Vitamin C Dry Skin Cocktail

This is a serum from the Finnish brand Lumene which I liked as it was non-sticky once absorbed and hydrated the skin well during the autumn cold season.  I got tempted to purchase this due to the dual color of the serum which was a pretty yellowish and deep pink, which you can see it when I review it.  But, I will not repurchase this as it did not do anything great for my skin apart from the moisturizing effect.

5.  Freeman Eclos Daily Facial Cleansing Oil

This was a good facial cleansing oil that removes impurities and makeup effectively though waterproof ones need more quantity but I usually do not use waterproof makeup so it was fine with me.  The availability is a problem apart from the USA, and I have a list of other cleansers to try out so will not repurchase it.  You can read the full review here.

6.  Freeman Body Replenishing Lotion Shea Butter & Lemongrass

This is a Freeman product that I got in Finland as few of Freeman’s bath & body products are available here and I was not a fan of the smell.  But it did moisturize the skin well during the cold freezing winters but need some massage to get absorbed into the well.  You can read the full review of the product here.  I will not repurchase this as I still love my all-time favorite Garnier lotion reviewed here.

7.  L’Oreal Paris Hydrafresh Hydration+AntiOx Active Spa Water

This is the toner that I got along with the day and night cream from the same range and liked using the combination in summers.  But, when the weather started to get slightly cold, the day and night cream started to dry out my skin where I used to get dry patches due to the alcohol content.  But, this toner gave decent hydration to my skin, had a nice fragrance and got absorbed by the skin well.  I will not repurchase this as it is not easily available especially in Finland and I try to keep away from chemical based products when they do nothing exceptional to the skin.  You can read the complete review here.

8.  The Body Shop Shea Body Butter

Many of you might have used this body butter from TBS especially during the winter season.  I also got this small one to try and it moisturized my dry body skin very well leaving a nice fragrance.  I have not yet reviewed it, but will review it soon.  I usually do not get the full-size tub as they are costly and get finish up soon due to my dry body skin.

9.  Ananda Aloe Gel & Rose Distillate Hydrating Mask

This is one of the best product received in My Envy Box and the 50g last for quite a few applications.  I like the smell, the way it cools and hydrates the skin and sometimes leave it as an overnight treatment too.  I am looking forward to trying few Ananda products in the future.  I still have not reviewed it.

10.  Gia Bath & Body Works Butter Creme Soap

This is a soap in the form of whipped cream, so it does not dry the skin at all, washes off easily and the fragrance is so nice though it does not stay in the skin.  I loved using this soap and also got another different variant to try.  The one shown here is the Daisy- Marc Jacobs-Type variant which has a pleasant floral smell leaving the bathroom fragrant too.  I have not reviewed this as I lost the pictures I took and could not find them.

11.  Gia Bath & Body Works Cupcake Soap

This is the cute looking cupcake soap that I reviewed here, which looks so pretty though it does not smell as nice as the whipped creme soap.  It is little difficult to use due to the small size but nonetheless it is a pretty looking soap to use for fun and will make a unique gift item too.

Have you used any of the products above?  Do you also try to finish a product before moving to the next one or do you get bored before finishing one prorduct?

I am trying to be more organized now especially with skin care products and try not to jump between products before finishing them, but sometimes it needs lot of patience
