Fabindia Rose Water Review

6

Hi everyone,

If you have been reading my blog for some time you might have noticed that I am a rose water addict and use rose water as a toner, facial spray and always try new brands both affordable and expensive ones.  The rose water that I liked a lot in terms of quality, quantity and price is the oilcrafts rose water and today I am reviewing the rose water from Fabindia.  This is one of the rose waters that I used a lot a few years back before trying other brands.  And, after a couple of years, I repurchased it and reviewing it here.

The Fabindia rose water comes in a plastic bottle with a spray that sprays a fine mist.  The rose water is colorless, does not have any artificial fragrance and smell soothingly of roses but the rose smell is different from Oilcrafts, Good earth, Forest Essentials or Kama Ayurveda.  It is not artificial, I think the smell varies depending on the type of roses from which the rose water is distilled.  The smell is very natural and will very well suit people with sensitive noses or people who do not like rose scents. I mostly just spray the rosewater to my face after washing my face with face wash leaving it to air-dry.  My face feels lightly hydrated, skin feels soothed and this rose water will suit people with all skin types.  Fabindia rose water also comes in a  distilled and pure form with no preservatives.  The high price tag of the Kama Ayurveda & Forest Essentials became a limitation for me to indulge in them often, I love the rose water from Good Earth, but the availability is the main problem for me and thus Oilcrafts became my favorite.  I like Fabindia rose water too as it is easier to get compared to Good Earth rose water and is a good one but still prefer Oilcraft over this.  But, if you want a good affordable rose water, you can definitely give this a try and the price difference between this one and Oilcraft one is not much.

Pros:

Sturdy transparent pump packaging

Smells mildly and lovely of roses

Leaves the skin lightly hydrated

Soothes the skin

Pure 100% rose water with no added, colors, chemicals or fragrances

Can be used on all skin types

Cons

Availability, though they are available online, but sometimes they go out of stock and it takes time to see them in stock again, also Fabindia stores are not widely available in small cities

May be pricey for some, but out of the many brands I have tried this is still affordable at the same time pure (Oilcraft is close to this in price)

Prettykooll rating: 4.5/5

Have you used the rose water from Fabindia?  Which brand’s rose water is your favorite?

It has pure distillate of roses and nothing else, that’s why I did not post the ingredients. Will try to update it

I am currently using Kama Ayurveda Rose water and as you said I too cannot indulge often into pricey rose water. I would love trying this as it’s been in my wish list for long

This is a nice rose water but it didn’t do anything fancy to my skin.

All the Rose waters I have tried even the expensive ones does nothing wonders to my skin too, i just love to spray my face after cleansing always instead of toners and they prep the skin well for further product applications
