Fabindia Soap-Free Cleansing Gel – Haldi Chandan Review
If you have been reading my blog, you would have known that I have combination dry – dry skin in winters and prefer gentle facial cleansers and SLS/SLES- free face washes. One such product I am currently using and reviewing today is the Fabindia Soap-Free Cleansing Gel – Haldi Chandan.
₹ 295 for 120 mL
Purified Water, Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycerin, Cellulose Gum, Manjishta Extract, Turmeric Extract, Sodium Benzoate, Allantoin, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, White Sandalwood Extract
The face wash comes in a plastic tube packaging attached with a cap which and the packaging is sturdy and travel-friendly. The face wash is light sandal in color or light honey colored, is semi-liquid and spreads easily in the skin. The face wash has Chandran or sandalwood fragrance, lathers a little but effectively cleanse the face and also removes mild makeup. It washes off easily, does not leave any slippery feeling or residue after washing if you use lukewarm water, but if you wash in cold water you have to wash few seconds extra for the slippery feeling to vanish away completely especially if you have oily or combination oily skin. The face wash does not strip off the moisture completely and hence will suit dry skin and it does not give that stretchy or tight feeling. It might suit oily skin people in winters but I am not sure how well if will fare in summers.
SLS/SLES free non-drying face wash that leaves face soft & supple
Lathers, cleanses effectively and washes off without leaving any residue
Does not strip off the moisture from skin completely
Has a nice chandhan fragrance
Availability as sometimes it’s hard to find it widely online or go out of stock in stores (currently available on Fabindia online store)
I feel this face wash is more suitable for dry or combination dry skin than oily skin which is a pro for me actually but could be a con if you have oily skin
Prettykooll rating: 4.5/5
