Forest Essentials Luxury Butter Soap – Rose & Cardamom Review

Hi everyone,

If you have been reading my blogs, you would have known that I love using bar soaps that are gentle on the skin and trying new one each time, the one I am reviewing today is the Luxury Butter Soap in the variant Rose & Cardamom from Forest Essentials.  I have used one of their sugar soap in the variant Madurai Jasmine and Mogra which I have reviewed here.

     ₹ 475 for 125 gm.

Ingredients & About the Product:

The Forest Essentials Rose & Cardamom soap is pink in color, almost a coral pink color and it has a strong smell of rose fragrance  which is a bit strong which could be due to the smell of cardamom, the smell is almost like the rose sherbet smell but it is still quite good.  The soap feels very smooth and soft on the skin and does not dry the skin at all.  But, it melts away fast if not stored properly and one bar might last you one month if stored properly in dry condition.  The smell does not transfer much to the skin after bathing but leaves the bathroom smelling so nice which I liked.  But, as usual soaps from Forest Essentials are costly and I am looking for other affordable at the same time more natural smelling non-drying soaps.

Suitable for all skin types

Has a nice smell (it’s a personal preference)

Feels very gentle on skin

Does not dry the skin at all

Washes off easily without leaving any residue

The smell is strong, so some might not like it

Prettykooll rating: 4/5

Have you used this soap from FE, I would like to try affordable soaps with rose scent from other brabds, do ou have any suggestions.? I am thinking of checking Fabindia soaps.
