Hello everyone,

Today I am reviewing another handcrafted soap from Gia Bath & Body Works in the variant Strawberry Creme Silk.  I have already reviewed the chocolate creme silk variant which you can read here.

As I told earlier, I am a big fan of handmade soaps and thought of trying few handcrafted soaps from India and got two from Gia bath & body works.  I have already reviewed the Chocolate creme silk variant soap here and the one I am reviewing today is in the variant Strawberry Creme Silk.   The soap is a bright  beautiful pink color and I brought this soap mainly for the color.  I was expecting a beautiful strawberry fragrance but id did not smell so much of strawberries but had a subtle smell of a blend of essential oils with a very light strawberry fragrance.  It lathers mildly, but well,  that washes off easily and leaves the skin soft.  I am loving using it as it does not dry out my skin and gives a clean feeling without leaving any residue behind.  It might feel costly though it will last you for more than a months as it does not melt off fast but it is better to store in a dry place.  One complaint that I have is that it has some scrub like particles embedded in it which gives a mild scrubbing effect which I am not a fan as I prefer soaps to have a very smooth feeling like the L’Occitane soaps. But, otherwise I like this soap a lot as it also feels fun to try these colorful design soaps.  Though it is available only online, I was impressed by their prompt customer service and fast shipping.

Pros:

These soaps look beautiful

Has a lovely subtle fragrance

Suitable for all skin types

Does not strip off moisture from the skin

Gives a smooth, supple skin

Washes off easily without leaving any residue

Cons:

Not a fan of the mild scrubbing action of the soap, wish it was a smooth bar

Some might find it costly for a bar soap

Availability is an issue as it is available only online

The soap is so cute.. I really like the whole look of it.. Its a shame though it doesn’t lather much as that is a must for me.
