18

Hello everyone,

This is my 100th post and I was trying to reach this small milestone already at the end of 2015, but with the holiday season and travel, it did not happen.  At last, today I am publishing my 100th post and there is a mini giveaway in celebration of this little milestone. Today I am reviewing It’s Real Squeeze Masks from Innisfree in Rose & Black berry variant.

I already tried a couple of sheet masks from Innisfree and quite liked its intense hydration effects, so got another two variant to try out.   I chose the Rose & Black berry variant this time and as usual with sheet mask, it is so easy to use as there is no preparation required. The sheet might not fit exactly to your face, but you can adjust it and it pretty much covers your face. I have oily combination skin in summers and combination dry skin in winters due to which my skin gets stretched and dry. The sheet masks leave my skin highly moisturized as they are saturated with serum and I usually do not use a moisturizer after this.  It might feel heavy for oily skin people but you can use it before bed, remove it and it will be a substitute for your night cream.  Both the rose and black berry left my skin moisturized and they had a subtle nice smell which I liked compared to the olive & green tea variant which had an intense alcoholic smell.  My skin felt somewhat sticky for at least 10 mins only this time after massaging the serum compared to the olive & green tea variant which I used when the weather was not cold and my skin was not dry like this time, so it took at least 30 minutes for the sticky feeling to go away.  But, this time, my skin was very dry with the harsh winters and travel and hence the sticky feeling went away in 10 minutes. The recommended time is 10-20 mins, but I usually leave it for 30 minutes and the sheet do not dry up, it will still feel moist when you remove it.  These does not do anything miracles for your skin, but it just leaves them very much moisturized and you can use it now and then when you feel your skin need more nourishment.  For those with oily skin, it might feel sticky for a long time, so you can just splash your face with water and pat dry with the towel and the sticky feeling will go away leaving a subtle nourished skin.  I am still planning to buy few more variants  too to intensely moisturize my skin in winters.

Pros:

They are very good travel companions as you can just carry them and use them anywhere

Has a nice subtle smell

Can be used by people with all skin types for that extra nourishment

Moisturizes the skin well

Leaves the skin soft & supple

Ingredient list looks good

Very simple to use and there is no need of preparation or washing off

Cons:

Availability is a major issue as they have only one store in Delhi and it is not widely available in online Indian shopping websites

Feel sticky for some time especially in summers or when skin is on oily side

Prettykooll rating: 4.5/5

Have you used these sheet mask? Which are your favorite variants?

Even I felt the same thing for most of the sheet masks. It feels a bit sticky, so I just splash some water on and pat dry. That does not alter the effect though

      Completely agree
