Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream Review
Today’s review is on the Neutrogena Norwegian formula hand cream. Winters are harsh in Turku and I use hand creams a lot as my hands get more drier due to frequent washing and exposure to cold. After finishing the Innisfree Olive hand cream which I reviewed earlier, I got the Neutrogena hand cream as it claimed to provide instant relief of dry chapped hands.
Price: € 4.5 for 50 mL in Turku ; ₹ 300 for 56 g in India

Neutrogena hand cream comes in a white plastic tube with a blue screw type cap which is travel friendly. I purchased it in Finland and it comes in two variants, the one with the blue cap is scented and the one with red cap is unscented. The hand cream has a floral powdery smell which does not bother me but it might bother highly sensitive noses, who can get the unscented version. The smell fades away after sometime post application. The hand cream has a gel texture but when applied on skin it transforms into a white cream that has to be massaged well to get absorbed completely. Once absorbed, hands does not feel greasy at all but it leaves the hands quite moisturised. A tiny amount is required each time for application, but if you use more than the required quantity, then it takes quite some time to get absorbed and if you do not massage it well into your skin, it feels greasy. If you wash your hands very frequently or if you have very dry skin then you have re-apply as needed, otherwise twice a day application is enough. Very small amount of cream is needed each time and hence it will lasts you for around 3-4 months or more if you apply twice a day. This hand cream works really well if you have cracked chapped hands like mine and it just cures the cracks in couple of days. It is a very good cream for dry hands but you have to be consistent on applying to see the benefits. It did not do anything to my cuticles which I usually wish my hand creams take care of and I wish it was more creamier in texture so that it spreads more easily.
