The lotion comes in a sturdy opaque plastic bottle which is travel-friendly.  The lotion is almost like a thick cream and so you have to squeeze the bottle well to get the product out especially when it is near to getting finished.  The lotion smells so nicely with cocoa butter scent like a pastry product thus feels edible but soothing and I just loved using in in winter as the scent was so relaxing.   But, some might not like the smell of this so much as they get a feeling of applying a chocolate or cocoa-based edible product like my husband.  I purchased this body lotion during my trip to the UK as Palmer’productsts are not available in Turku and I was so happy I got this.  This lotion was a delight to use during winters and kept my dry skin well nourished.  It also doubled up as a face cream and left my face intensely moisturized, plump and healthy looking.  My face skin also gets dry during winters and when I used it on the face one night it got absorbed immediately inspite of this thick texture and did not leave any greasiness.  So, I also used it in the morning and put my Lakme CC cream or Bourjois foundation and it applied well on the skin and at the end of the day, my skin did not feel any dryness or stretchy.  So, this became just an all round product for me as it suited my skin very well.  It will be heavy for summers but for the European fall and winter season this is really good.  This goes into my favorite list here, and I can keep on repurchasing it but the problem is I am not able to get this in Finland or then the shipping rates are high.  So, I am planning to buy it in big size either from India or through my friends in the UK or the USA during the next winter.  I am also very much impressed by Palmer’s Cocoa line that I am planning to try out few of their products also in the future.

Pros:

Widely available depending on the country (USA UK, India)

Nice subtle soothing cocoa fragrance (personal preference)

Stand true to its claim of softens smoothes & relieves rough dry skin providing 24h moisture

Gets absorbed quickly

Does not feel greasy

Moisturizes the skin very well

Makes the skin supple & smooth

Doubles up as a face moisturizer in the winters for dry skin

An all-rounder to be used in winters for dry skin in body, face

Soothes dry patches and also clears them up in few days of application continuously

Cons:

Availability is limited or not available in some countries

Packaging might be difficult to squeeze especially when you are finishing up the product

Contains mineral oil, dimethicone and other lists of chemicals which might be allergic to some (I personally prefer more natural based product, but still the lotion impressed me by the way it suited my skin)

Prettykooll rating: 4.5/5

I heard from some of my friends who have used Palmer’s products abroad that sometimes Palmer’s products that you buy online in India is not very good or near expiry or smells not so good, so getting a good genuine product is sometimes a challenge, but not always.

I love this body lotion, it’s quite thick almost like a body butter but easier to blend in. My skin absolutely loves this.

Cocoa butter sounds yumm! 😀 I used to think that Palmer’s body lotions must be really expensive, but 370/- isn’t a lot. 🙂 nice review!
