Review on Innisfree Camellia Shine Hair Mist

Hello all,

Today I will be reviewing the Camellia Shine Hair Mist from the Korean brand, Innisfree

Price: ₹ 650 for 150 mL

Ingredients: Water, Isododecane, Alcohol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Propylene glycol, Diphenylsiloxy Phenyl Trimethicone, EPG-7, Glyceryl Cocoate, Camellia Japonica Seed Oil, PVP, Sodium Citrate, Lactic Acid, Sodium Chloride, Caprylyl Glycol, Caramel, Fragrance

About the product:  Formulated with Jeju Camellia ingredients, this product helps to reveal shiny and soft hair as the silk protein of the moisture layer imparts elasticity to your hair and captures the nutrients absorbed in the oil layer and thus coats your hair twice, presenting a moisturized and resilient wavy hair style.

Directions: Shake well and spray onto wet or dry hair from 10cm distance and style where curling is desired.

I have heard good reviews about Innisfree products especially about their green tea seed range.  I picked few products in my visit to their store and this is one of them.  It is basically a hair mist you can use on wet or dry hair during styling your hair.  The hair mist comes in a red plastic bottle with a spray.  The particular bottle I got had some problem as the spray did not work at all which turned out to be a disappointment to me.  So, I transferred it to another spray bottle to use it. The hair mist is bi-phased i.e., it has an oil component and a water component and it has to be shaken well to mix the 2 layers before use.  It has a kind of floral smell which is not my favorite though I am ok with it, but people with very sensitive noses might not like it.  I mostly use it when I blow dry my hair as it also acts as a heat protectant.  Though they have particularly mentioned to use it during curling, I use it both when straightening or curling my hair. The spray coats the hair well leaving it lightly moisturized for a couple of days.  It does not weigh the hair down if not used too much and the amount will lasts for at least 8-10 months if you use it twice or thrice a week depending on your hair length.  It is basically a good hair spray that also controls frizz to some extent. You can give it a try if you are looking for a decent hair spray and it is better to smell it before buying.
