The Body Shop Satsuma Body Butter Review
Today I am going to review the Satsuma Body Butter from The Body Shop which is a part of the satsuma gift box that I purchased almost a year back, I have posted a picture of it on Instagram which you can see here.
₹ 1095 for 200 mL, this is a small size (50 mL) that comes with a gift pack
I got this small version of Satsuma body butter as a part of the gift box, I like gift boxes as we can test different products at the same time instead of buying one by one. The satsuma body butter comes in the usual TBS body butter tub packaging and as this is mini tub it is quite travel-friendly. The product smells of orange candies and orange drinks and if you are a fan of TBS satsuma fragrance, you will like this one too. I usually apply body products on damp skin as they absorb well and leave the skin moisturized and this is no exception. The body butter spreads well on the skin, gets absorbed within few seconds of massaging and leaving the skin supple, moisturized and fragrant. But, I feel the moisturization will be enough for normal skin people and for dry skin people during summers but for severe winters the moisturization is not enough and TBS has other variants for that purpose like shea, coconut, and cocoa body butter.
Love the citrus fruity fragrance
The fragrance stays well on the skin for few hours depending on the weather
Gets absorbed quickly
Does not feel greasy
Moisturizes the skin well except during winter months (dry skin)
Costly and if you have dry skin like me and use a lot, the 200 mL tub too gets finished quickly.
It is not intensely moisturizing, so will not be enough for dry skin people or others in cold climate (it is actually not a con as TBS has other variants for very dry skin)
Prettykooll rating: 4.5/5
