Za Total Hydration Energy Mist Review

Hello everyone,

If you have been reading my blog, you might have noticed that I use facial sprays on a daily basis and I use rose water more often but sometimes I also try out other types of facial mist.  It replaces my toner as my skin is on the combination dry side, so I spray my face with face mist or floral waters to be precise after cleansing, pat it and let it dry on its own.  I have never tried many Za products so got a few of them to try and one of them is  this facial mist from Za.  I just got this to try as an alternative to my normal face mist/floral waters.  Though I know it is chemical based and I prefer mostly natural based ones as face mist just refresh, tone and preps your skin for the application of moisturizer but does nothing miraculous for your skin with a few exceptional one.  So, I usually do not prefer to load my skin with chemicals unnecessarily, let’s see how this fared on me.

     ₹ 549 for 80 mL

About the Product

This mist-type lotion instantly relieves dryness to restore skin’s radiance.

Just spray on to replenish generous moisture

Retextures greasy, shiny skin to pleasantly fresh and smooth

Hold 15cm from the face and spray a few times to apply an appropriate amount over the entire face, and smooth it out with the palm of the hand. It can also be used over makeup

Water, Dipropylene Glycol, Erythritol, PEG/PPG-14/7 Dimethyl Ether, Magnesium Chloride, Calcium Chloride, Glycine, Glycerin, PPG-13-Decyltetradeceth-24, Sodium Citrate, Disodium EDTA, Citric Acid, Tocopherol, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Fragrance

The Za face mist comes in a plastic pink color packing with a pump that sprays a fine mist.  The face mist has a subtle nice fragrance that fades away in few seconds and gets absorbed easily by the skin without feeling greasy.  The face mist definitely feels hydrating on the face due to the presence of erythritol & glycerin which are seen in the ingredient list.  I also use it spray over makeup and it does  not disturb the makeup but I have not noticed any significant longevity of the makeup.  I enjoyed using this face mist a lot during winters due to its hydrating effect but will not repurchase it due to the presence of a long list of chemicals.  The hydrating effect can be attained if you mix few drops of glycerin with any facial mist or floral waters like rose water, lavender water etc.  So instead of using the Za one with a long list of chemicals that does nothing exceptional to the skin, I would happily continue using the floral waters.

Sturdy transparent pump packaging

Smells lovely

Absorbs well without feeling greasy

Leaves the skin decently hydrated

Soothes the skin and leaves it refreshed

Can be used to spray over makeup though I have not observed any effect on the longevity of the makeup

Costly for the quantity though it will last for few months as it sprays a very fine mist

If you prefer natural based face mist or floral water like me, you would not like this one due to the long list of chemicals (which does nothing great to the skin either)

Availability, though they are available online, but sometimes they go out of stock and it takes time to see them in stock again

Hi Preethy,I was really looking forward to trying out this face mist but paraben in the ingredient list really put me in a dilemma.I have been using the Forest Essentials face mist and they just so awesome and they are all natural and chemical free. Thanks for the review.

I’ve been using the Kaya face mist. It’s quite refreshing and considering that the climate where I stay is getting quite hot & humid, it is quite refreshing.

Lovely review. You are right better to use floral water than this, as this does nothing exceptional. We have enough chemicals around us already 😀
